Quarto (24.3 x 14.8 cm), 16 pp, includes Frontis, Title page, Colophon and respect sheets. Copy in branch, with its original paperback covers, number 5 of the special print run of 5, printed on Old Guarro paper, for the bidders and relatives of Olivari, who died shortly before this edition saw the light of day. The edition was completed with 30 numbered copies, on Japanese Okawara paper “a la main” and another 5 on Japan Shizuoka paper. This is the copy that belonged to the illustrator, Fernández Chelo.


The edition was ordered by Olivari and Gustavo Fillol Day, for their friends, but in full print death surprised the renowned poet. Each page, illustrated with Fernandez Chelo's engravings with wonderful compositions, is numbered and signed by this author.


Nicolás Olivari (Buenos Aires, 1900 – 1966), journalist, playwright and poet, used the pseudonym “Diego Arzeno” to sign tangos and some of his journalistic texts. Among his lyrical works are "Carne al sol", "La musa de la mala pata" and "El gato escaldado"; As a journalist he published in “Crítica”, “El Pregón”, “Noticias Gráficas”, “Reconquista”, “La Época”, “El Laborista” and “Democracia”.


In collaboration with Enrique González Tuñón he wrote the play “Un Ayuda en la 34”, and with his brother Raúl González Tuñón “They take three turns and then they leave”; his are the theatrical pieces "Exile" "Tedio", "Irse" and "The Lead Leg". His tangos were performed by Gardel, Cobián, Visca, Di Sarli, Donato, De los Hoyos and Pecci, among others. For adhering to the ideas of Peronism, with the establishment of the "Liberating Revolution" he was proscribed and persecuted; his books were prohibited in school education and the burning of his works was decreed.
