In this contest photography Juan Gómez displays all of his fine artistic sensitivity and does so in the very difficult field of portraiture. In a strong monochrome scene, the three adolescents gaze between curious and questioning the camera of that stranger who, nevertheless, will visually and forever seal that friendship on a sensitive paper copy.

The author, father of three boys, perhaps understood this youth fellowship. Then the impressive work will have been presented in national and international photographic competitions but, as the British writer Rudyard Kipling points out: "... that's another story”.
